• Supporting democracy, good governance and the Rule of law by preparing individuals for a national and regional move towards reconciliation

Specific Goals

• Freeing the Great Lakes region from the endemic violence which paralyses its institutions and dooms to failure any development efforts.
• Creating more peaceful relationships between people by healing the wounds of the past and creating bonds of trust where feelings of being excluded are replaced by a concern for each others' safety.
• Promoting changes in attitude that will allow public affairs to be run in a healthy way and which will give every individual and group the place they deserve in national and regional life.
